Plex is interested in the graphic language of protest through typography.

Inspired by Black Liberation posters from the 60s like “I AM A MAN” indignation was designated to demand judicial reciprocation from a man slain during work as a sanitation driver. The works of Emory Douglas influenced my concept. My anatomy being an individual, tall, polyithic, and distorted all inform the direction of my typeface.

The forms were conceived during my stay in Brooklyn, NY.  Writing graffiti shaped the language

Of the PLEX text with elongated letters purposed for world view.
